Japanese Motorsports has over 35 combined years of experience between owner John Shea, his certified technicians Scott Brown, and Marck Lamogliachinchilla. When you bring your vehicle in for repairs or upgrades, you can expect a fair price quote for parts and labor. We'll even give you a free second opinion. With no hassles or pressure to have your repairs completed at our shop. You get second opinions from doctors, so we think your car's health is worth a second opinion. The best part is that our second opinion is free! We recently had a new customer come in to see if the company he'd just been to was honest on the quote he'd been given for a brake job. This company quoted him $1,300 dollars for work that they said his brakes needed. In reality, he only needed to spend about $200 on his brakes. Scott Brown, an ASE Master Automobile Technician, has been putting his vast knowledge and skill in foreign and domestic automotive repair for 25 years total with the last 7 in the Austin Texas area. Scott's love of automotive repair goes beyond routine scheduled routine maintenance as he loves to build hot rods on the side. He has a 1932 Ford Roadster that he has been meticulously restoring over the past couple of years.
Marco Lamogliachinchilla is Kia certified and is currently working on his ASE certifications. Previously, Marco has spent a year at Capital Kia, five months at Brake Check, and two years with Pro Modular Performance where he tuned Mustangs and other Ford vehicles. Marco also spent a year with Charles Maund Toyota. Marco has lived in Austin since 1980, and became a hobby car builder at sixteen. He currently owns a 92 Fox body Mustang project car.
